Hello, I’m Hua Xiaoxia.We’re in Xizang finally. The same blue sky and white clouds as in my memory. Look! Snow mountains. Wow, herds of yaks, the gushing Yarlung Zangbo River, and the beautiful songs lingering on the grassland. Everything is as stunning as it was! As we arrived on National Highway 318 in Xizang,the first stop was Qamdo City, and Mangkang County impressed me most.

【华小夏】各位各位，先听我给大家介绍一下芒康县，因为这里是川、滇、藏的交界处，是茶马古道上特别关键的重镇，再加上这个盐井有1300多年历史，这历史画卷一打开，就是上千年了。沿318国道继续西行，穿越“雪域江南”林芝，我们在一天内感受亚热带、温带、寒带多种气候，终于抵达拉萨林周县。不知道我当年去过的达龙寺现在怎么样了。
Dear friends, please allow me to introduce Mangkang County to you. let me Located at the junction of Sichuan, Yunnan, and Xizang, Mangkang County is a node on the Ancient Tea Horse Route and home to this salt well with a history of over 1,300 years.
It has a history encompassing over a thousand years. Continue westward along National Highway 318 to cross Linzhi, on the snow-covered plateau. In one day, we experienced subtropical, temperate, and frigid climate, and arrived in Linzhou County finally.
I wondered what had become of Taklung Monastery I visited before.

【夏仲活佛】是的，2015年的时候，因为享受到了国家的政策，我们重新翻修修建，以前不是这个样子，非常简陋，也有安全隐患。现在你看，都是玻璃房，每人一套，一个客厅，一个卧室。
Yes. In 2015, supported by the national policy, we renovated them. Different from now, they were simple and shabby, and accompanied by safety risks. As you can see now, they have glass windows. Each monk has one suite, a living room and a bedroom.

【夏仲活佛】这就是我们要讲的宝藏。清朝康熙年间，御赐达龙寺为护国寺，给寺庙赏赐了一副马鞍和一个黑金官印。清代以前中央政府就重视西藏佛教，寺庙里还有很多历史文物，充分体现了各民族交往、交流、交融的关系，各民族共居共乐，贯穿于西藏的每一个历史阶段。
This is the treasure I’m going to talk about. During the reign of Qing Emperor Kangxi,
Taklung Monastery was granted the title of Huguo Temple. It was rewarded a saddle
and a black gold official seal. Before the Qing Dynasty, the central government honored Tibetan Buddhism.Historical relics of the temple reflect the relationship of ethnic exchanges and integration.All ethnic groups live happily together through each historical stage of Xizang.
【夏仲活佛】以前从拉萨到达龙寺要三个多小时，将近四个小时的行程，来回就一天就这么过了，但是现在柏油马路也通了，然后路也好走了，所以基本上两个小时就可以搞定了。
It used to take more than three or four hours from Lhasa to Taklung Monastery.
A round trip would take a whole day. Now, the asphalt road has been paved,
making it easy to travel. Therefore, it takes only two hours.

这边，白姆，是我们的整个吉本岗区位的一个3D模型，然后在18世纪的时候是佛塔，现如今是整个拉萨老城里面唯一一个保存比较好的坛城的建筑结构。这里曾经是拉萨古城的地标之一。
Look here, Baimu.This is a 3D model of the Jebum-gang area, the site of a pagoda in the 18th century. In the old city of Lhasa, this is the only well-preserved mandala structure. It was a landmark of the Lhasa old city.

【夏于钧】 现在我们这个位置是在吉本岗的西北角，这幅是整个吉本岗艺术中心最重要的一幅壁画，叫《香巴拉之战》，是西藏清代壁画的代表作，也是一部藏文化的简明百科它描述的就是“香巴拉抵御魔王”这样的故事。吉本岗所有的壁画对于各个学者研究的学科来说是非常具有价值的，当时就是有一些唐卡专家和壁画专家专门对这幅画进行了一个考察和分析，然后他们也分享了一些如何祛除珍贵壁画表面的一些污垢和灰尘，它是用一个糌粑的团去粘附吸除掉。
Now we are in the northwest corner of Jebum-gang. This is the most important mural
at the Jebum-gang Art Center, The Battle of Shambhala. It is a representative Qing mural in Xizang and a concise Tibetan encyclopedia. It tells the story of Shambhala resisting the devil. All of the Jebum-gang murals are invaluable for the study by numerous scholars. At that time, some Thangka specialists and mural experts investigated and analyzed this mural. They also shared some ways to get rid of
the debris and dust on the precious mural. They used tsampa balls to remove the debris and dust.
【华小夏】用温和的糌粑一点一点为壁画“擦脸”真有意思。原来这些珍贵的壁画就是这样一步步出现在我们面前的，这也得益于当地的保护性修缮，让我们有了一个窗口去透视古城的历史文脉，让像我一样的年轻人能够了解这里的民间故事、艺术文化。
It is wise to “groom” the murals with tsampa balls bit by bit. That’s how these precious murals are brought back to life bit by bit. The preservation and restoration efforts present us a glimpse into the historical heritage of the old city and allow young people like me to appreciate the local folklore, art, and culture.

Dear friends, We had a wonderful journey along National Highway 318 and travelled happily onward. Did you remember this and this? So many of this.
